done, done, DONE
well, the radio career came to a screeching halt this afternoon. hehehe. seems that the "boss" came to the realization that it was neigh unto impossible for him to make any money at all on the radio and so, in a moment of clarity, pulled the plug on the radio side of vavoom media.
so, now i have a thirty minute demo and an hour long demo that are both real good to shop around is the way i look at it. dunbar and i did some really fine radio and the topic is going to be appealing to somebody i would believe. we shall see. kathleen was very disappointed and i am sure rhonda is going to be as well since she really likes having me here at home but, hey, it was a gift in the first place and a LONG SHOT at the very best. i am going to research the satellite radio market and see which channels, presently on the air, could use either and hour or half hour long, funny, adult language and sometimes topics, program on sex and politics in america. maybe there is a market and maybe there isn't. we shall see. if any of you out there have any ideas on something i could do please write and tell me.
the united states government was pleased to announce that the afghanastan poppy crop set another new record this year. air america flies again. (see poem "poppies" from oct. 5th 2006 and you might take a gander at the one for the 6th which was "the war party."

My advice, Ronno--
Find someone in Vegas who is willing to do a Streaming Internet Radio show so that you can amass experience and material to ready for Broadcast. You can publicize your Internet Radio show at your standup shows and on your website. I just had a friend sell his internet radio show for $1m to a broadcast operation. Sniff around-you'll find someone with the equipment.

I hope one of them has a place for you, but I really hope it is XM, just because that's the one I have. I'd love to hear you and Ron Bennington exchange stories--He's a great interviewer, and I think does his best when the interviewee has a "checkered past".
Ron if you go for the internet radio thing really consider incorporating a porn store session. Not one of the suburban carpeted couples type place but a real get to it inner city place. Great customers street hookers, some couples, trannies, inflatable sheep dolls(real)hey we all have our thing. Rush is a big seller. Tile floors, wires hanging from ceiling, cash counter behind bullet proof glass. All this with an unusual air of comraderie and respect for each other, so not terribly judgemental. Kind of a biker titty bar without the violence.
You need a theme song. Something from Spike Jones and his City Slickers.
