JAMES BROWN: ONE DEGREE OF SEPARATION

j. brown and i go way back. in 1961 i was living in harlem (yeah, that harlem..someday i will detail how that came to be) and went to a james brown concert at the apollo theater... me and ten thousand black people. it was a great fucking show! in the 70's i had an affair with one of brown's back-up singers. she did not have all that many good things to say of mr. brown, allotting he was extremely hard to get along with. here in vegas, brown, one time, was in his underwear standing on a street corner berating passers-by. but entertainers should be judged by their art...and in that arena, james brown had no equal. PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE!!!

I agree. Artistic talent has nothing to do with one's other personality traits. You can't take away from what JB did on stage.
