true christians

this past week we saw christian philosophy in action: the amish families whose children were killed by a deranged gunman held a fund raiser for the family of the man who commited this horrible crime and who had then killed himself leaving a wife and children. they didn't engage in rage or retribution, but in forgiveness and charity. contrast their actions with pat robertson calling for the assassination of president chavez of venezuala or jerry falwell's statement that the united states deserved 9-11 because we allowed homosexuals in this country. ask yourself who is following the words of christ. just a thought.
